Well its been some time since the last big update and to keep up with the market, Nemachek have released there new 2008 version of Vectorworks, no news on the items other than on their web page, but whatch this space for more as it becomes available
You can't ignor it, Autocad is so dominant in the Building industry, it may well be the worst CAD program alive, but its the most used, I have to work with it because its so dominant, so when I get invited to attend a free seminar on the new 2008 version and its in Birmingham City Center, then what the hell..... I attend

My practice is Vectorworks based, so every little bit of help that I can get to speed things p a little, or make drawing a little more fun, them I'm interested, Jonathon Pickup's site www.archoncad.co.nz/ is a real must visit, I subscribe to his Email system for a once a month Email on hints and tips on Vectorworks. I also look into www.Architosh.com as very usfull site tha has the most up to date forum, you cuold wish to visit, drop it a line and very a very immediate responce.

Well this is easy, a blog site set up in just a few minutes, photo did not work, but the istock photo is just fine as this blog is all about Architecture and the building process.
I am an Architectural Technologist, that is I help with the design of buildings, but my real work is that of making it work, drawing the design to comly with the relevant building standards, in what ever country the project is based.
I work wirk a CAD package called Vectorworks, but also if pressed on Autocad,
I will be commenting on materials, the design on materials and their useage, the design of literature and how its sold to the profession.
